Teeball/Baseball Clinics are a fun sport combining team play and individual skills. Open to to boys and girls ages 3-11 years. Please note that we will play RAIN OR SHINE!

T-Ball and Coach Pitch Leagues

Coach Pitch

Ages 8-11*

*If your child has prior T-ball experience and is ready for our Coach Pitch league please reach out to Youth Sports Coordinator Aria Ludtke at aludtke@whatcomymca.org.

Practice times - Tuesday’s 5:50pm, 6:40pm or 7:30pm

Game times - Thursdays at 4pm or 5pm

Team 10: Tuesday 5:50pm (full)
Team 11: Tuesday 5:50pm (full)
Team 12: Tuesday 6:40pm (full)
Team 13: Tuesday 6:40pm 

When:

  • May 16-June 22
  • Make up week - June 26-29

Cost:

  • $120 for Members
  • $150 for Non-Members

Tiny Sluggers Clinics

Ages: 3 - 4 yrs

Location: Squalicum Creek Park

Tiny slugger classes focus on teaching fine motor skills and body control as well as basic skills like throwing, catching, and batting. The class will also introduce life skills such as teamwork sportsmanship, and respect as well as fostering a love for the game. Participants and spectators must remain at the field during the duration of the program. Bathrooms are available onsite for participants and spectators (parent/guardians are responsible for child's bathroom visit).

When:

  • Session 1: 4/10-4/20
  • Session 2: 4/24-5/4

Cost Per Session:

  • $35 for Members
  • $65 for Non-Members

Ages: 7 - 11 yrs

Location: Squalicum Creek Park

This clinic with progressively teach batting, fielding, throwing and catching, as well as beginning baseball strategy. The class will also introduce life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect all while focusing on having fun! Children will be separated into age or skill appropriate groups for safety. Bathrooms are available onsite for participants and spectators (parent/guardians are responsible for child's bathroom visit).

When:

  • Session 1: 4/10-4/20
  • Session 2: 4/24-5/4

  • $35 for Members

Summer Baseball

Multi Sport Camps:

  • Experience various sports sports, including baseball, in our multi sport camps! Both camps feature three sports: baseball, soccer,  and either basketball or flag-football depending on the week. For ages 6-12, our week-long programs run July 17 to July 21 (baseball, soccer, and flag-football) or from July 24 to July 28 (baseball, soccer, and basketball week). From 9am to 3pm, you'll enjoy a diverse range of athletic activities, developing skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship across multiple sports. Join us for an unforgettable summer adventure!
