The YMCA is where most children receive their first experience with sports in a non-competitive environment. We continue to be that place to nurture the potential of children and provide teamwork opportunities in a fun, supportive way.

Teeball/Baseball Clinics are a fun sport combining team play and individual skills. Open to to boys and girls ages 3-10 years. Please note that we will play RAIN OR SHINE!

Tiny Sluggers Clinic

The Tiny Sluggers program, set for Spring 2025, specializes in improving fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and introducing the basics of teeball. The training is organized into one two week session, from April 14 through April 24. Registration for the program opens on January 27th. For Y Members, the fee is $45 per session, while for Non-Members, the fee is $75 per session.

Baseball Clinics

The Baseball Clinics, part of the Spring 2025 sports programs, are designed to progressively develop batting, fielding, and throwing skills. They offer one two week session: from April 14 to April 24, with registration starting on January 27th. Clinics are held on either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday at the Squalicum Creek Park Fields from 6:40 to 7:25 pm for ages 7-10. Y Members can enroll for $45 per session, while the fee for Non-Members is $75 per session.

Teeball League

The Teeball League is a beginner-friendly, non-competitive program offered in Spring 2025 to introduce the essentials of Teeball. The season spans from April 28 to June 12, excluding Memorial Day on May 26. Sign-ups open on February 3, 2025. Practices are on either Monday or Tuesday, with games on Wednesdays or Thursdays at Squalicum Park Creek Fields. Team practice times are listed on a separate league sheet, and games start at 5 pm. The fee for Y Members is $170, and for Non-Members, it's $200.

Coach Pitch Baseball League

The Coach Pitch Baseball League is a non-competitive Spring 2025 program focused on teaching kids the basics of baseball, including hitting and fielding. The league operates from April 28 to June 12, with a makeup week scheduled for June 16-20. Enrollment starts on February 3, 2025. Practices take place on Monday and Tuesdays, while games are held on Wednesdays or Thursdays at Squalicum Creek Park Fields. Detailed practice times for teams are provided on the registration page, and games are slated to begin at 5 pm. Participation costs $170 for Y Members and $200 for Non-Members. ​​
