Lifeguard Certification
This course provides participants with the essential skills and knowledge to perform as competent lifeguards. The training covers a variety of crucial topics, including water rescue techniques, surveillance and recognition, first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for the professional rescuer. Successful completion of this course awards participants with Lifeguard and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, recognized by the American Red Cross.

- Saturday, May 18: 1-9pm
- Sunday, May 19: 9am-5pm
- There will be an hour lunch on both Saturday and Sunday
- Register by May 10!
Those wanting to participate in the class will be required to complete the following swim test on the first day.
- Step 1: Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on the back or side is not permitted. Swim goggles are allowed)
- Step 2: Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only the legs.
- Step 3: Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both.

First Aid/CPR/AED Training (Adult and Pediatric)
The American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) training program is designed to prepare individuals to effectively respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. This course covers first aid basics, CPR for individuals of all ages, and automated external defibrillator (AED) use. Upon completion, participants receive certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED for adults and pediatrics, empowering them to act confidently and competently in emergency situations.
